Today I cut out toddler neck travel pillows and cooked a really Great Dinner!!  I made Chicken Parmesan Risotto.  YUMMY!!!  I made it from scratch and by Memory!!!  I was so proud!!  I also made some garlic cheese bread.  Here are some pics!

July 10th, 2011

I spent the afternoon sewing a carseat cover for my Aunt Kathy's foster babies and a pair of shorts for the grand daughter of my Aunt Linda.  I had previously made a pillowcase dress for Aunt Linda's grand daughter and the shorts are to go with that.  She can't wear dresses to school/daycare with out shorts, so I made her some.  They turned out So CUTE!!

I sent Aunt Linda the dress a couple of months ago.  My poor son was modeling the shorts.  "But Momma, They are PINK!"  I kinda felt bad.  HE HE HE!!

Hello and Welcome

I am going to go on a journey and I hope you come with me.  In the past couple of years I have come to realize that I have several muses in my head.  There is the Cooking Muse, the Jewelry Muse and the Sewing Muse.  It is going to be an interesting ride and I hope you come along with me.  About 5 years ago I found that I like to create jewelry.  Mainly chain maille!!  About that same time, I really started branching out on cooking.  I see a recipe and change it to fit my family (mainly me, I am a picky eater).  Then about a year ago, I decided to break out my sewing machine.  THAT has been my latest pashion.  I have a new sewing machine and recently recieved a serger.  Let me tell you, that has been a learning experience but What a ride!
